Dinosaur Days

Cassy, Chari, Stacy and I braved $2 Tuesday and took the kids to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point (aka Dinosaur Museum).

I haven't ever been with the kids to the Dinosaur Museum--Parker was really excited. It was pretty crowded but we had a good time. Parker and Ian just ran from display to display gazing at the dinosuars. Parker got to watch a little documentary about the theory of the end of the dinosaurs. He was completely absorbed in it.

That afternoon Parker came running in the house and let me know that he was a baby pteradactyl that had just hatched out of an egg "like that big one at the museum." He and a friend were building him a nest with sticks and grass to live in.
Some day we will have to go back and take a little more time at the museum when it is less crowded and chaotic.

We all enjoyed our first trip to the Dinosuar Museum!
