Last weekend our ward hosted a family campout. The first camping trip of the year for us. The kids were so excited and were definitely not disappointed.
Our schedule consisted of:
Chilling with friends,
Playing in the fire and enjoying the goodness of our labors,
Exercising the good old fashioned way,
(Parker is second to last)
And enjoying the beautiful greenness of spring (sometimes from a little different perspective than usual).
Parker in his first official tug-of-war. Parker learned the art of roasting prickly pear cactus--and like all the rest of the boys couldn't get enough of the fire.
We also tried to keep tabs on Kaylee--She was in heaven tailing the older girls, we rarely saw her and couldn't keep her around long enough to pose for a glamour shot!
Although the night was a bit chilly and there was little sleep among the adults in our tent, we had a great time.

I admire you for being brave enough to stay the night! I loved camping as a child, but nowadays? =) I was thankful for a night with just Harmony!
We really miss that ward. Looks like you guys had fun.
