Candy Trains

It is a tradition at Grandpa and Grandma Smyth's house to make candy trains a few days before Christmas. The kids really enjoyed this and were very creative. I was impressed by the amount of time that it held their attention--expecially Kaylee, and the fact that they actually used the candy to make the trains and not to just sit and eat it! We gave the trains away as gifts as we went Christmas caroling and Kaylee was very disappointed so Grandma held a special second train making session so Kaylee and Parker could make a train to bring home with them.

That is a super cute idea! Maybe we'll have to take that tradition up instead of gingerbread houses since my boys love trains!

Very Cute! What did you use for all the parts of the train? I would love to try this next year. It looks like you guys had a great Christmas.
